About Rosemary and her music
While writing is my main passion (this includes writing songs), singing and performing have also been a major part of my life. It is my wish to encourage feelings of hope and inspiration (especially during times of difficulty and life transition) through popular and original, romantic, social, spiritual and environmental songs and stories.
With the advent of YouTube, my wish became a reality as viewers around the world have experienced the above original video "Asha (Hope)" for world peace, used the educational presentation of the read-along story and sing-along song "One Seed" about courage and hope, and experienced an audio-visual gratitude with beautiful nature photos accompanied by lyrics to the sing-along song "Thank You".

Music for All Ages
It took about 30 years for me to feel comfortable in front of an audience. While my performances are now few (I'm presently taking a break from performing), they are varied, from easy-listening for grown-ups through to the occasional jumping-up-and-down (the children not me) specials for children.
For the young I have greatly enjoyed doing school presentations (such as Earth Day events - see Video Index), a few fairs with kids' familiar sing-along favourites like "Apples and Bananas" and originals such as "Tippi's Learning to Fly", and book-readings with sing-along songs for “One Seed” and more recently “The Whales' Secret” and “The Day the Wind Changed”.
For adult audiences I have become more true to and accepting of my eccentric, klutsy and sometimes comedic self, preferring to be relaxed and at ease with the audience, much like Dean Martin used to be, crooning "Welcome to my world, won't you come on in..." It's rather like inviting you into my living room, as some audience members have told me. Songs vary from favourites like "Perhaps Love" by John Denver, "Love Me Tender" by Elvis Presley and "Que Sera", as sung by Doris Day, to popular titles, show tunes, oldies and goldies, and originals. And it's not unusual for me to get caught up in cables, forget my words... it's the human in me... and as I get older - there's always the trusted music stand with sheet music.
Music and Mediumship
And now for something completely different. Using my gift as a 'sometimes happy medium' along with the music, the outcome is a very unique performance I call "Music and Mediumship - Over the Rainbow." (Previously titled "Talking and Singing with Heaven"). Presented in halls and as house concerts, these performances have been very spontaneous - as I received the intuitive sense to play and sing specific songs, invite the audience to sing along, then link directly with members
of the audience to bring messages from loved
ones who have passed on, or words from guiding forces, wishing to
impart information, support, hope, encouragement and love.
Bookings
At present I am taking time away from performing.
