Writing Biography of
Freelance Writer Rosemary Phillips
Member of the Federation of B.C. Writers
Since my first interview article with a band at a high school dance
in 1966, I have written for newspapers, organizations, promoters,
presenters, television, and national magazines across Canada.
In addition, I have written for all my own promotion, for community
events and concerts, reports for community projects, newsletters,
and stories.
My own book “Sliced
Bread – Notes from a Baker’s Rebel Daughter,”
was published by Loonbook in 1999, and the newly released children’s
story and song “One
Seed”
has been presented to schools around British Columbia. I have also
written many songs, some of which are recorded on “Homemade
with Rosemary.”
The following is a summary of my writing career. Not included are
the many articles, interviews and reviews that have been published
in various newspapers and magazines, including “The
Cost of Cheating Death”, printed in the Vancouver Sun
on March 10, 2003, page A13.
