The "One Seed" Button
The One Seed Button

While working with children in schools Rosemary wanted something to give to the children who had the courage to come to the front of the classes to read a line from the book. So was born the “One Seed” Courage Button. It is a button to be worn proudly.

Rosemary has also given the “Courage Button” to grown-ups who have made a difference in the community. Recently Terry Jacks, creator of the multi-million-seller hit “Seasons in the Sun” received one for having had the courage to perform on stage for the first time in 31 years at the Festival of Freedom at the Forks, in Grand Forks, B.C. this last July. He also received it for his work for the environment. A definite “seed” he is.

The One Seed Bookmark

The "One Seed" Bookmark

This is a bookmark with a difference, just like the song says - “It took one seed to make a diff’rence”. Not only does the bookmark have the first verse and chorus of the song written on it, it has a seed packet attached to it. These wildflower seeds can be planted in spring. The instructions are on the back of the bookmark.

This makes a very special gift for any child (or grown-up) who needs a little boost, inspiration, and feeling of joy. Yellow is such a cheery colour. It’s also a good colour for the intellect and clarity of thought and memory.

"One Seed" Courage Kit

The “One Seed” Courage Kit puts everything together:

“One Seed” book with CD
“One Seed” button
“One Seed” bookmark

This is a great gift for any child (or grown-up) as an inspiration for courage, or as a reward for having had the courage to do something that makes a difference – or simply to do something they didn’t think was possible.

While reading the book and singing the song the recipient can use the bookmark to keep their place, plant the seeds to watch them grow, and wear the button to give a boost of courage.

It took one seed to make a diff’rence
It took one seed to grow up tall
It took one seed to have the courage
One seed that’s all.

I am available for live presentations of "One Seed". Please contact me if you are interested.
