Writing is one of my passions, singing is another,
the easy listening kind - classical, pops, folk, and
my own creations. A concert can include everything from the "Merry Widow" by Franz Lehar,
to Scottish favourites (especially Robbie Burns' songs), show tunes, John Denver and Elvis Presley tunes, and fun pieces like
"Singing in the Rain" and my own "Stuff" and "One Box" - words to touch, and
music to feel.
It is my passion to sing
songs that encourage feelings of hope, especially during times of difficulty and life transitions - songs that inspire, with spiritual and environmental
implications for audiences of all ages.
One Seed and Children's Performances - for children and the child within
One performance I enjoy is for children (in schools, at fairs and
festivals and for concerts), and families and the child within. Stories include “One Seed”
(follow the link for "One Seed" Performances and Reviews). Other stories include "The Day the Wind Changed", "Stumpville Stories" featuring the Keyrays and Tippi the Fairy, and "The Whales' Secret". All stories are woven with favorite sing-along songs and special songs written just for the stories.
Mediumship and Music - Talking & Singing with Heaven
Using my gift of clairvoyant mediumship with my singing and music makes for a very unique performance - often very spontaneous - as I receive the sense to play
and sing certain songs, then link directly with members
of the audience to bring proof that life continues
after this life and that there are other dimensions of existence
which we are only just beginning to recognize and understand.
These "messages" can link an audience member with a loved
one who has passed on, or with guiding forces that wish to
impart information, support and encouragement - from that magnificent loving life force and source we call "God", that is common to all religions and understandings.
Music as Healer - for Hospice and Healing Concerts
Another avenue for my vocal and performance abilities is
for hospice organizations, or for special healing
concerts (see Reviews).
Songwriting and Recordings
This passion has also been extended to songwriting and
recordings like "Reach
for the Star" and others on the CD "Homemade
by Rosemary" and more recently my new compilation of
fun songs like "Talking to My Self" and "Oompa" on the CD
"Me and My Guitar"
, and songs for children on one
