2013 BOOKINGS for Performances, Presentations, Funclasses and Funshops
While I'm focussing more on writing and art, and a garden, I'm making the occasional appearance performing at Open Mic Nights at the Christina Living Arts Centre (Welcome Centre) in Christina Lake, BC, on Thursday evenings. Lisa's Bistro puts on a great menu and coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and the Arts and Artisans Society has their gallery open during the event. It's an amazing building - so artistic - even the floor!
April 26 to 28 - SPRING FESTIVAL OF AWARENESS in Naramata BC. Hosted by Angele and Richard of Issues Magazine. 50 workshops to choose from, great vegetarian food, super location!
Saturday, April 27, 6:45 p.m. "Happy Feet" Foot Massage - Workshop #24 - Ooh! Ahh! Experience and learn this deluxe 15-minute foot massage - good for all ages and health condisiton - using various reflexology and healing techniques for relaxation and rejuvenation. Manual provided. You'll be walking on air! Bring cusion and towel. It's that awesome Foot Massage I developed in the 1990's to help walkers on the annual Great Walk (64 kms) from Gold River to Tahsis, BC - I was stationed for five years at about the 46 km mark where people were dropping out... this method was created to be quick and efficient, get walking boots back on and get people to the finish line - 18 kms up hill - and it did! It's a method that helps the body too - not just the feet!
