There once was a seed that decided to grow
While others laughed and teased,
But that seed just wouldn’t say “No”,
In itself it truly believed.
Chorus:
It took one seed to make a diff’rence.
It took one seed to grow up tall.
It took one seed to have the courage.
One seed that’s all.
The seed took root and grew real tall
While others laughed and teased,
“You won’t last long, you’ll only fall.”
Yet the seed became a tree.
Chorus:
It took one seed to make a diff’rence.
It took one seed to grow up tall.
It took one seed to have the courage.
One seed that’s all.
Now that tree is fully grown
Now it’s making seeds
Strong enough – it won’t be long
As they grow up into trees.
Chorus:
It took one seed to make a diff’rence.
It took one seed to grow up tall.
It took one seed to have the courage.
One seed that’s all.
Next time that you’re seeking shade
You’ll find it under a tree
Remember that seed and the risk it made
How it grew for you and me.
Chorus Twice:
It took one seed to make a diff’rence
It took one seed to grow up tall
It took one seed to have the courage
One seed that’s all.
Stuff

My mum took a turn and passed away
So I'm dealing with all that stuff
I'm in pain, I feel tired, I feel uninspired
And I plead - enough's enough -
Of- you know what I mean -
All that - you know - STUFF.
My car's rear-ended and towed away
So I'm dealing with all that stuff
I'm in pain, I feel tired, I feel uninspired
And I plead - enough's enough -
Of - you know what I mean
All that - you know - stuff.
My world, my life, is shifting fast
At a pace I can hardly keep up
There's cell phones, and e'mails, and travels by jet
And fast cars that won't let up.
All going and doing somewhere in a hurry
Making TIME a ticking of nerves.
At the end of the day we're frazzled away
Too tired to think of life's curves.
Some youngsters set my home on fire
So I'm dealing with all that stuff
I'm in pain, I feel tired, I feel uninspired
And I plead - enough's enough -
Of - you know what I mean
All that - you know - stuff.
But wait! I know, I'm always on time
Never late, but in the right place
To meet or do whatever's bein' done
And have no reason to race.
So I'm stopping, to tell you life's not so bad
I'm slowing down, to listen, to see.
Just think of the learnin' that we've all had.
I'll get where I'm going - maybe.
My life's been filled with a wonderful glow
So I'm dealing with all that stuff.
I feel joy, now I'm wired, and highly inspired
And I know - enough is enough
Of - you know what I mean
All that - you know - STUFF.
Old, Old Tree

Way up high on a mountain top
I was tired and had to stop.
The journey had been quite long,
Yet I was filled with a happy song - of
Oh, oh, I'm free - Oh, oh, I'm free.
The sun was high and hot
So I moved to a shady spot
Under an old old tree
And I felt it could speak to me - of
Oh, oh, mystery - Oh, oh, mystery.
(I asked) Spirits of the tree
Show yourselves to me, through faces in your bark.
Spirits of the tree, won't you speak to me
Of life, light and dark?
They said, "Don't you know we're one,
And have been since the days' begun?
Don't you know we need the night,
To prepare for the day's delight?
Oh, oh, can't you see? -Oh, oh, can't you see?"
(I asked) Spirits of the tree
Can we truly be, one with all we know?
Spirits of the tree, what you're telling me,
Is it really, really so?
(They said) "When you're in the darkest night
You will see the morning light
As it slowly sends its rays
To touch you in wondrous ways.
Oh, oh, feel the sun - Oh, oh, feel the sun!
"About being one we'll say,
We're like that morning ray,
Coming from a single source
It's just we all have a different course,
Oh, oh, we are one - Oh, oh, we are one!
Oh, oh, just be - Oh, oh, just be!
And remember this old old tree!
And remember this old old tree! ... (to fade)
