“Reach for the star,” the angel said
“The brightest star, it's straight ahead
God has prepared a pillow for your head

”I cannot go,” Marie replied
“To my family I am tied.
Who will teach them, comfort and guide them along?”
“Reach for the star,” the angel said
“The brightest star, it's straight ahead
You have done your work, they are well prepared
To meet what life will bring.
It's up to them, you've done your best
They have the skills to do the rest,
We'll be there to comfort and guide them along.”

“It is time to rest your weary head
On the brightest star that's straight ahead.
